On 26th July, four days after pro-freedom Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front chief Yasin Malik went on a hunger strike in Tihar jail, the jail administration reportedly put him on intravenous (IV) fluid or glucose. Malik has stopped eating food since 22 July, protesting against his prolonged illegal detention and unjust life imprisonment sentence.
