On 19th September, video emerged on social media of a school in Kulgam’s Nagam area, in which Kashmiri Muslim students are seen performing Hindu rituals and singing Hindu hymns. The video shared by several social media users shows several school children, including Hijab clad female students, repeating a Hindu hymn after a reciter on the mic. Last month, Indian authorities in Kashmir forced children to raise Indian flags at the school, and many Kashmiri Muslims teachers who did not unfurl the flag were expelled from employment.[10]
